What gets collected
When you request a review, the details you submit (name, work email, firm details, and the context you provide about your practice and priorities) go to our intake CRM (Lawmatics). efficient.esq does not maintain a separate database of submissions.
When you email yourself a diagnostic report, the site transmits your email address, an optional firm name, and your category-level results: a readiness level per assessment domain, the narrative composed from those levels, and the diagnostic version. Your individual answers never leave your browser.
The site also records first-touch marketing attribution: if you arrive with UTM parameters or from an external referrer, a single summary (source, referring domain, landing page, and date) is stored in your browser's local storage and attached to a submission only if you make one. No cookies, no analytics trackers, no advertising pixels.
Who processes it
The site runs on Vercel, which handles standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) to serve and protect the site. Intake submissions are processed in Lawmatics. Email goes through the mailbox behind hello@efficient.esq. The site is operated by MHSB Solutions, and no other processor sees your information.
How it is used
Submissions are used to decide whether an operating-model review or other follow-up makes sense, to respond to you, and to understand which channels bring firms to the site. If you check the consent box on the report form, we may also send occasional related resources, and you can stop them at any time by replying or emailing hello@efficient.esq.
efficient.esq does not sell intake submissions, does not rent lead lists, and does not share your information for third-party marketing. If the intake service is unreachable and you email instead, that correspondence is handled directly.
Retention and deletion
Submissions are kept while the conversation they opened is live, and afterward as ordinary business records. Email hello@efficient.esq to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We honor these requests regardless of where you practice.
Boundaries
Do not submit client confidences, privileged facts, or matter documents through this site. If you realize you have, email hello@efficient.esq and we will delete the record.
Changes
This policy is effective August 4, 2026 and describes the site as it runs today. When the site's data practices change, this page and its date change with them.
